Once you've submitted a pitch or treatment, you'll receive an email confirming your submission has been received. You'll also be reminded to set up a Payoneer account in order to receive payment if you're selected. You can find out more about how Payments work here.
When the brief reaches the submission deadline, the brief will close and the status will change to 'In Review' while the client reviews each submission. You'll be able to see your treatment and the status of the brief via your 'My briefs' dashboard.
While the brief is in review, the client is able to message you with any questions, so keep an eye on your emails and Genero inbox. The Genero team will also try to keep you updated if there are any delays to the commission date. Try to be patient - if you haven't heard from us yet, it means a decision hasn't been made!
We'll be in touch as soon as a decision has been made on your pitch, so you'll receive an email letting you know if you were unsuccessful. If the client does select your pitch, you'll get an email congratulation you on being commissioned and explaining the next steps.
