Once a brief has closed, the client will choose the creative team they want to work with on the project. If your submission is selected, you'll receive an email advising you of your successful commission, and explaining the next steps. Creators who are not successful will be notified by email.
Once you've been commissioned, you can message the client via the platform - and keeping communication on Genero means we can ensure everything goes smoothly and keep you protected by our terms.
Now that you've moved into production, you'll have access to new sections of the brief, including the Dashboard, Messages, Production assets, Legal & Forms and Final Deliverables.
Need some upfront funds? Clients can set up progress payments on the platform, and can choose to release funds to you after a pre-production meeting or at their discretion, so send them a note outlining why you need upfront payment. Genero is only able to release funds after the client has paid us though!
Release forms: For any Genero projects you must use our release forms which automatically pull in the right usage requirements. These are digital and super easy to use. Access them on any device or send them via email.
Take us behind the scenes: We love being able to show off you and your work, particularly with video and imagery of our creators on set, in production or hard at work making amazing content. Get in touch with any behind the scenes content so we can show everyone how great you are.
Upload your drafts for feedback: Once you’re in post-production, upload assets directly to the platform so the client can review your work using our platform tools including time-stamped feedback.
Deliver the final assets: Once your edits have been approved, you can upload the assets into the 'Final Deliverables' section for handoff to the client.
